Médecins Sans Frontières prove that simple can be striking

In this poster, Doctors without borders | Médecins Sans Frontières (website, Facebook, Twitter) put the point across using admirable wit, poignancy and simplicity.

MSF, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2011, provides emergency medical care and relief supplies to those most in need.

Whether the crisis being faced is a natural one or one that is generated from armed conflict or war, MSF’s doctors provide the necessary care to the ill and wounded.

This poster is by no means a new one – it has been saved in my laptop for a few years at least, but every time I come across it again I think about how well it defines Médecins Sans Frontières – its doctors often venture where photographers don’t.

So we cannot possibly have a photo.

A video summarising MSF’s work can be found here.
